Head of Church Meeting
The Heads of Church meeting of the NSW Ecumenical Council was hosted by the Uniting Church in Australia Synod of NSW & ACT. The main theme was centred around the World Council of Churches Draft Unity Statement. The conversation and discussion generated at the meeting were robust. As churches, how do we love our neighbour? How do we love the stranger? As churches, how do we enact visible unity? What is visible unity? Does that mean for a church to discount her dogma, teachings, and theological stand? The short answer is no. The Heads of Church meetings meet in June and in November each year.
