In the Northern Hemisphere, the service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is held annually in January. In the Southern Hemisphere, service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity occurs in the week leading to the Feast of Pentecost according to the Western Christian calendar. The homily was delivered by Bishop Daniel from the Coptic Orthodox Church Diocese of Sydney. There were several Christian Church Traditions present from both Western and Eastern traditions.
