Youth Commission Report
The Youth Commission had its inaugural meeting on March 2020, one week before long down happen due to COVID-19. It is anticipated the Youth Commission will continue where it left off last time. Obviously, new members need to be invited to the Commission, and new Office Bearers – chair and a secretary need to be appointed. It is with hope the Youth Commission will recommence over the next coming period. There is so much the Council would like to share and impart to the youth, as they are the living members of church membership. A small request is to send a name or two from your church to participate in the Youth Commission. A kind reminder – the Youth Commission is to prepare youth for leadership in the ecumenical space – the only church will benefit will be the church that participates. The Council is a great believer to foster and nurture the youth for today’s ecumenical space – not for tomorrow. The youth are the most precious resource for the Ecumenical Council and for the member churches.
