Every gift — large or small — supports the Council’s ongoing work: theological dialogue, peace and justice advocacy, interfaith engagement, and the many Taskforces that give expression to our shared Christian witness.
We welcome financial partnership from individuals, churches, and organisations who share our commitment to Christian unity and service.
Whether a one-off gift or a regular contribution, personal donations directly sustain the Council’s day-to-day ministry and enable us to respond to emerging needs and opportunities.
Member churches and other congregations are invited to support the Council through an annual financial partnership — an expression of solidarity with the broader ecumenical community and its work.
Christian organisations, schools, agencies, and foundations are warmly invited to partner with the Council through project-based or general financial support. We welcome conversations about strategic giving.

Sustaining the Council's voice in public life — for refugees, the homeless, climate justice, and a more compassionate society.
Enabling theological forums, study materials, and shared resources that deepen understanding across the member churches.
Supporting dialogue and cooperation across faith communities in NSW — building bridges of understanding in our diverse society.
Funding advocacy, education, and solidarity programs for communities in the Middle East, including the EAPPI Australia program.
Supporting new and growing Taskforces in the arts and chaplaincy ministry — expressions of Christian presence and creativity.
Is my donation tax-deductible?

Can I direct my gift to a specific Taskforce or project?
Yes. We welcome designated gifts. Please contact the General Secretary to discuss directing your donation to a particular area of the Council's work.
Can I set up a regular giving arrangement?
Regular giving is especially valuable to the Council as it enables long-term planning. Contact the General Secretary to arrange a regular gift or bank transfer.
Can our church include the Council in its budget?
Absolutely — and we are grateful to the many member churches who do. Please get in touch and we can provide a letter or summary of the Council's work to assist your church's decision-making.
How do I make a donation by bank transfer?
Contact the General Secretary at gensec@nswec.org.au to receive the Council's banking details for a direct transfer.
